The expeditions will take you through the Hajar Mountains to the silver city Nizwa and its round tower fort where we halt for a quick photo stop. Through Wadi Nakher we reach the pretty mountain village of Misfah, famous for its archaic stone houses. On the way to the heights of Jebal Shams (over 3000 metres) we pass by the terrace farming village of Wadi Ghul. Reaching the top of our journey you will have a spectacular view several hundred metres down into the canyon.

You will leave Muscat at 0800 this morning and head up to the mountains. You return to Muscat in the early evening.
