4 Day, 3 Night Mountains, Forts, Desert & Island Tour

Day One:

You'll drive into Oman's interior in one of our 4x4 land cruisers to Nizwa, the country's capital in the 6th and 7th centuries. Its 17th century castle is the focal point of this captivating old town. With its lush green surroundings, it is admired by all who have visited. You can take a stroll along the castle walls and wander through the local souk where you can barter for your wares.

Day Two:

After breakfast, you’ll head inland to Wadi Bani Khalid for a mid-morning swim and picnic lunch in the serenity of one of Oman most visited and loved Wadi's. We then head south into the Wahiba Sands desert, stopping en route for lunch. We take a short trip across the sand dunes to the camp for the night where we unwind and have the best seat in the house to view the magnificent sunset over the undulating desert dunes.

Day Three:

We break camp this morning and head south to the spectacular Khaluf Bay where the dunes of the desert meet the stunning beaches of this coastline. Lunch will be served in the camp and the afternoon is free to relax in this beautiful area before heading across to Masirah Island for the night.

Day Four:

There is an opportunity for those looking to see more of the country to partake in some bird watching amongst the marshland in the Bay of Mahawt before returning to Muscat via the black top road.

Full payment is due for all trips cancelled within 7 days. No cancellation will be charged for trips booked more than 7 days out. No shows will be treated as cancellations
