3 Day, 2 Night Private Tour Nizwa & Turtles


Duration: 3 day(s) - Location: Nizwa & Turtles

Starting in the old capital Nizwa this trip takes you to the forts, souqs, sights and sounds of traditional Oman. You’ll enjoy the relaxed way of life in this interior town. You head on to Ras Al Jinz via Wadi Bani Khalid, Oman's best loved wadi and a wonderful place to relax and swim. You continue for your night close to the turtle reserve with a chance to go and see the turtles laying their eggs on the beach. Then you’ll return to Muscat along the coast via the fishing town of Sur, the spectacular wadis of Tiwi and Sur and the Bimah Sinkhole - a natural phenomenon.

Day One:

You’ll drive into Oman's interior in one of our 4x4 land cruisers to Nizwa, the country's capital in the 6th and 7th centuries. Its 17th century castle is the focal point of this captivating old town. With its lush green surroundings, it is admired by all who have visited. You can take a stroll along the castle walls and wander through the local souk where you can barter for your wares.

Day Two
:

You’ll visit the forts of Bahla and Jabrin before heading home via Tanuf with its old ruins and water springs. You head across country via Wadi Bani Khalid until you reach Ras Al Jinz.

Day Three
:

You’ll leave by this morning and travel north along to the old town of Sur, where you can still see dhows being made today.  You will stop and walk through the spectacular Wadi Shab before returning to Muscat.
